Privacy Policy
This site is the official Shadowrocket website and guide. This policy applies to visits to shadowrocket3.com and does not replace the data handling information for the Shadowrocket app or Apple services.
1. Scope and information you submit
This static site provides guidance on verifying the official app, purchasing and installing it, importing an existing subscription, and configuring rules. You can browse the guide without an account. The site has no email collection form, account login, or online payment form, and does not ask you to submit your name, phone number, Apple ID, payment details, or subscription credentials.
This site does not provide proxy servers or offer, sell, or recommend subscriptions or servers. A one-time app purchase is separate from a connectivity plan; app purchases and users' existing connection services are managed separately. The instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Handle those details in the relevant app, not on this site.
2. Access logs and analytics
Requests to this site send necessary connection information to the service hosting it. This may include your IP address, requested path, access time, response status, and device information sent by your browser. These records help deliver pages, diagnose access errors, detect unusual requests, and maintain service reliability.
This site uses analytics to understand how visitors read pages and use navigation. Data may include pages visited, referring pages, browser type, device category, and clicks on the App Store button. Button click events help measure use of the official app listing; they do not confirm a purchase or provide purchase amounts or order details.
Analytics are used for aggregated analysis and content improvements, not to build individual visitor profiles. Do not add passwords, subscription links, or other private information to this site's URL query parameters, as they may be included in access logs.
3. Cookies, local storage, and browser controls
You do not need a login cookie to read the static content. Whether analytics use cookies depends on the active analytics configuration and your browser settings. If used, these identifiers help distinguish visits or support analytics. Your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and images to avoid reloading them.
This site does not use local storage to save subscriptions, server passwords, or Apple purchase information. You can view, restrict, or clear cookies, cache, and local storage in your browser's site data settings. You can also use browser permissions to restrict analytics scripts. Clearing data may reset saved page preferences, while restricting scripts may affect navigation and other interactive features; the content remains available to read.
4. App Store and app data
Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms. The only place to get it is the App Store product page, operated by Apple. After you leave this site, account verification, purchases, payments, and related data handling are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies. Your browser may send referrer information according to its own settings.
This site does not receive Apple account passwords, bank card details, or order records, and cannot access in-app configurations, connection logs, or traffic content. For app data handling, refer to the App Store privacy information and in-app notices. Check the App Store page for system requirements and compatibility.
5. Retention, policy updates, and access
Access logs and analytics are used only for service maintenance, security troubleshooting, and aggregated analysis. Retention periods should reflect the purpose; no fixed promise of permanent retention is made. This site does not publicly display individual visitors' access records.
If data handling practices change, this policy will be revised and the last updated month at the top of the page will be changed. Changes involving new data collection or purposes will be explained on the relevant page. Where consent is required, an appropriate choice will be provided before the processing begins.
If you run into a problem, start with the Troubleshooting or tutorial. Hide subscription addresses, passwords, and other credentials when troubleshooting. You can find this policy anytime through the “Privacy Policy” link in the footer.
